Get Access to the
Siteimprove API
The API requires the client to login with a username and an API-key through Basic Access Authentication.
The client acts on behalf of the username supplied during authentication and receives the same permissions as if username was logged in to the Siteimprove tools.
Try It
To illustrate the usage of the API and to get you acquainted before getting your own key, the examples in this guide use a public available username and API-key: apiuser@siteimprove.com:6bf4697f9d67ff008bf7f3ef0c1113e1. The API user has access to a Siteimprove account named Siteimprove API that has this documentation site as its sole website. To highlight aspects of Siteimprove we have included a test page on this site.
Obtaining Access
You can create and manage API keys from the Integrations menu on the Siteimprove platform.
